Easy Crockpot Bbq Pork Ribs With Honey
These Slow Cooker Honey Ribs are my go to. I love that they can be cooked in the slow cooker, oven, grill, and instant pot. They are so versatile and full of flavor. These ribs just fall off the bone and taste amazing. You need to try these award winning ribs.
If I had to pick a favorite food, it would be ribs (unless chocolate counts as a food.)
I love how delicious, and full of flavor, ribs are.
They are so tender, and practically fall off the bone.
My husband loves when I make these for sports games, dinner, appetizers,
Whenever we go out to dinner, I always end up ordering ribs.
I love them even more when I can make them at home in my slow cooker.
These ribs literally just fall apart after cooking all day. They are delicious.
How to make Slow Cooker Honey Ribs:
Step 1: Lightly spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. I prefer using an olive oil non-stick cooking spray. You could also use a butter based spray.
You could also use a slow cooker liner. They are a recent discovery, (usually found by the sandwich bags and tin foil, at the grocery store).
They make slow cooker clean up, a dream.
Step 2: Place ribs in the bottom of slow cooker.
Step 3: Combine beef broth, soy sauce, maple syrup, honey, barbecue sauce and dry mustard in a mixing bowl. Whisk until fully combined. Pour over ribs.
Step 4: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4.
*We prefer cooking them low and slow, because they tend to be more tender and juicy.
Can I make this recipe in the oven?
You most definitely could make this recipe in the oven.
Make the recipe as directed except place it in a 9x13inch pan or 9x9inch pan.
Pre heat the oven to 325 degrees F.
Cover the ribs with aluminum foil, and bake for 1 hour, or until ribs have an internal temperature of 160 degrees F.
